After exceeding 80 stores in Italy, today Capalbio looks abroad, where a cultured and attentive client is requesting the product. «We have been at Pitti Uomo since our first season - explains Carlo Sabatini, the company's administrator, appointed by the entrepreneur who started up Manifatture Toscane - at that time we were recognized by those who had followed the brand in the past. Markets like Japan, Korea and Vietnam are very prepared for this type of product, they manage to get excited by the stories of the Old Continent. Another market of choice is the Anglo-Saxon one, the whole North-East part of the United States. The new style's path aims to recover the heritage and make it contemporary. The PE 2020 collection focuses on patchwork jackets (made with fabric leftovers to reduce waste), in garment dyed cotton, linen and summer velvet. But the main fabric of the collection is the jute/cotton mix, inspired by the Tuscan factor work jackets of the early 1900s.
